My New Books are Here!

My books are back!

Thanks to all you wonderful readers, my publisher sold out of books right after Thanksgiving last year. So this year we made a couple changes to the reprint.

The front is exactly the same.

The back has a new quote!

Awww, thanks, Ron! I'm so happy you like it.

And if you've never been to Off the Beaten Path Bookstore in Steamboat, drop what you're doing right now and GO! It's such a happy, cozy place. And, according to my kids, they have best brownies and hot cocoa in the world! (This is not a paid advertisement but I wouldn't turn down some of that hot cocoa.)

Hot cocoa. Yum.

Okay, back to the book. We also had to change this page.

Because of Santa.

Santa still relies on Steamboat and Breckenridge to get him through the snowy passes. On Vail and Aspen to keep him both stylish and warm. And on Winter Park to help his team feel like locals wherever they go.

But Santa had to retire three of his elk last year.

They had lovingly given him many years of hard work and he decided they needed a rest. Now they get to play and lounge in the snowy North Pole all day. (And I've heard rumors they're going to help the elves make Santa a healthy breakfast on Christmas Day this year. After all those cookies, I bet he'll appreciate that!)

As you can imagine, once Santa put the word out that there were openings on his flight team, he had tons of applications arrive. So many amazing elk wanted to join him that he spent much of the summer interviewing all of them.

He finally asked Mammoth, Park City, and Tahoe to help pull his sleigh.

And he loves his new team members!

Mammoth keeps him up to date on how the Olympians are training. Park City teaches them all the U.S. Ski Team's new moves. And Tahoe has special skills to get them all through any blizzard.

I think he made great choices all around!

What about you?
