Energy Bites
These yummy no-bake energy bites are my favorite after- workout and afternoon snack!
They are easy to make and so delicious. And with the added collagen protein powder, they’re a perfect protein snack!
Have them as a quick breakfast, or afternoon snack with your coffee. They also make a fantastic post-workout snack. Our teenage son loves grabbing them after soccer practice to help him refuel.
ENERGY BITES
Makes 20 bites
Each bite: 125 calories, 4 g protein, 7g fat, 12 g carbs, 2g fiber, 5g sugar.
Ingredients
● 2 cups oats
● 1⁄2 cups almonds
● 1 tsp cinnamon
● 1⁄2 cup nut butter
● 1⁄4 cup honey
● 1⁄4 cup 70% dark chocolate, chopped
● 2 scoops Vital Proteins collagen peptides, unflavored
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a food processor.
Pulse until well blended. Add water by
teaspoon if mixture needs more liquid.
Shape into 18 balls.
Keep refrigerated for 1 week or frozen for 1 month..
